POLICE are investigating an incident involving a man being "cruel to a swan" in the Cheshire area.
The incident occurred at 12.34pm on Wednesday, 20 November, at Winsford Marina, Station Road, Winsford.
Police said they were "actively" looking into the matter, and that the RSPCA had also been informed.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "We are already aware of reports of a man being cruel to a swan. The incident reportedly occurred at 12.34pm on Wednesday 20 November, at Winsford Marina, Station Road, Winsford.
"The Winsford Beat Team and the Rural Crime team are actively looking into this and we have also reported this to the RSPCA."
