A FLOOD alert is in place in locations along the River Dee, affecting areas in and around Chester.
High river levels will remain high into next week and may lead to flooding, Gov.uk data shows.
The alert means the flooding of roads and low lying land is possible, but property flooding is not expected.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Dee, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around low lying land and roads around at Shocklach, Farndon, Handley, Lower Kinnerton, Chester and Puddington.
People have been warned to avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
