A CAR on fire on a busy Chester road prompted firefighters to be called out late on Tuesday afternoon.
One crew from Chester was sent to Forge Way in the city at around 5pm after reports of a car on fire.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) spokesman confirmed action was required to be taken by firefighters.
They said: “Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish a car that was well alight in Chester.”
