A CHESTER man stopped on the M6 by police was charged with possession of a Class A drug.
Peter Wiggins, 55 and of Wordsworth Crescent in Blacon, was arrested shortly before 6pm on Tuesday, November 26 after officers stopped a silver Vauxhall Astra on the M6 northbound near Stafford Services.
A Cheshire Police spokesman confirmed he will appear today (November 28) at Chester Magistrates Court.

They said: “During a search of the car officers recovered a large quantity of cocaine and a knuckle duster.
“Wiggins has since been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine) and possession of an offensive weapon.
“The 55-year-old has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court later today, Thursday, November 28.”
