A CHESHIRE businesswoman has expressed her delight at picking up an award from Chester South and Eddisbury MP Aphra Brandreth.
Dianne Worby owns Global Air Training (GAT), in Burwardsley, near Tattenhall, and last week attended a function at the Houses of Parliament in London from Ms Brandreth for her work.
GAT provides training courses to organisations in aviation, healthcare, and other safety and performance sectors.
Their courses are designed to improve human factors and crew resource management skills, enabling employees to avoid and mitigate accidents and adverse events through enhanced communication, situational awareness, decision-making, and team interaction.
Dianne admitted she was delighted to be able to travel to London for the award.
She said: “GAT's reputation for excellence and potential for future expansion continue to be sources of pride, inspiration, and motivation for me and my team.
“It’s cementing GAT's status as a leader in Human Factors and Error Management training across multiple industries.
“Winning the MP Heroes Award last week was a tremendous honour for me.
“It not only acknowledges the hard work and dedication put into making aviation safer but also serves as a validation of the significant impact GAT has had across multiple industries.
“This recognition from Aphra, my local MP, underscores the importance of the error avoidance training and the role GAT plays in fostering safer practices globally, motivating the team to continue striving for excellence.”

Ms Brandreth attended the 'MP HERoes' event in the Houses of Parliament with Dianne and other successful businesswomen from across the country who were nominated by their respective MPs.
There was a roundtable discussion on empowering women in business, followed by a networking and celebration event in the House of Lords.
Ms Brandreth added: “We need to do everything we can to encourage more women to go into business.
“It was great to attend the MP HERoes awards to recognise successful businesswomen from across the country who have made some incredible achievements in setting up their own businesses.
“I have run a small business myself and I know of the risks involved in getting set up and some of the hurdles which need to be overcome.
“Dianne has worked exceptionally hard over the years to set up her business in Cheshire, which is now recognised internationally.
“I was blown away by the expertise and training that GAT offer when I visited them in Burwardsley earlier this year and I am delighted that they have been officially recognised with this award.
“Well done to Dianne and the whole team.”
