A CARDIFF man who admitted beating three different police officers and another person in Chester could face a jail sentence next year.
Tobias Cody, 31 and of Clifton Street in Cardiff, appeared at Chester Magistrates Court to face five counts from an incident on November 15 this year.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of beating an emergency worker – PC Hodson and SC Brodie – plus one charge of obstructing Sergeant Fendt.
Cody also admitted assaulting Yassin Mohammed and also using words in a threatening and/or abusive manner in order to cause fear.
Valeriya Tonkinson, prosecuting, told the court that the incident happened on November 15 this year.
Magistrates ordered a pre-sentence report at the request of Richard Sibeon but chairman of the bench Ian Williams warned Cody that he could face a custodial sentence.

He said: “It is an all-options report and that it would be remiss of me to not say that custody is an option due to the nature of the offences.”
Cody will return to Chester Magistrates Court to be sentenced for the offences after both defence and prosecution accepted its right to jurisdiction.
He will be sentenced on Monday, January 6.
He was told not to contact his victim Mr Mohammed and also not to enter Today Kebab in Boughton, where the offence took place.
Magistrates had previously banned him from Chester but changed their minds when they heard Cody’s partner lived in the city.
