Vintage buses will once again be running between Wrexham and Chester on New Year’s Day, building on the success of the last three years.
On January 1, 2025, a variety of vintage buses will run from Wrexham bus station to Chester train station, as has been the case for the past three years.
The event is put on in aid of Nightingale House Hospice, with over £2,200 being raised last year. Organiser will be hoping for more of the same as the event enters its fourth year.
In addition to the service between Wrexham and Chester, the vintage vehicles will also cover other routes in Wrexham, with a surprise route yet to be revealed.
The main hub of the event is at Wrexham bus station where you will be able to see a few of the vehicles on display and others laying over between duties.
Organiser George Walker said: "The team and I are looking forward to seeing heritage buses grace the streets of Wrexham & Chester again on New Year's Day.
"We have a couple of the usual buses attending as well as a few new ones which we haven't seen before. We are operating the same 1H and 44H routes as previous years but there will be a surprise additional route for 2025 which will be revealed on our Facebook page in the very near future!
"This is our fourth event we have organised with it being the third being held at Wrexham Bus Station. We look forward to seeing some of you there!"
More information about the vintage bus day can be found via their Facebook page.
