A WHEELIE bin fire spread to a car in the early hours at a property in Cheshire - sparking an investigation.
Firefighters were called out shortly after 2am on Friday (June 4).
On arrival to Catherine Street, Widnes, the crew discovered that the fire had stemmed from the wheelie bin and spread to the car.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
They made sure that the wheelie bin and the car were safe before leaving the scene.
Firefighters were in attendance for about 50 minutes.
An investigation into the cause of the fire has begun.
