SOPHIE ECCLESTONE will be looking to cap a memorable 2018 with another trophy on Thursday.
The Chester-born left-arm spinner has been shortlisted for the Women's Player of the Summer award alongside Tammy Beaumont and Katherine Brunt.
Ecclestone took 20 wickets for England at an average of 16 apiece and claimed best International T20 figures of 4-18 on her way to being named player of the tri-series with New Zealand and South Africa.
That nomination follows on from Ecclestone's Young Player of the Tournament honour at Lancashire's end of season awards.
Ecclestone, who plays club cricket for Alvanley, bagged 15 wickets at an average of 15 to take the award.
New Zealand international Amy Satterthwaite claimed Player of the Tournament after scoring 277 runs, while Emma Lamb scored 497 runs at an average of 41 to win the Women’s Player of the Year.
